Trip Report

This family has a trip report of their drive from Moab to Las Vegas.

This page tells about driving from  Hanksville thru Capitol Reef with an overnight stay at Torrey. The next day they drove thru Escalante, Bryce and  then stayed in Cedar City. We will be doing the reverse of their trip on the first two days of ours.

Our Updated Proposed Itinerary

We will drive from Vegas to Cedar City the first day. Day 2, after our complimentary breakfast (“Hey, nice buns. Well, thank you.”) we’ll drive thru Bryce Canyon, up to Escalante, thru Capitol Reef Park and then onto Hanksville. Our campsite is about 1 hour south of Hanksville. Aimee told me we should get there about 5 or so.
